Hidden Report
Kurokawa Ashura—aka Agent Shadowfire—has dealt with everything. Murder. Smuggling. Government espionage. Everything, yet he finds his abilities stretched to their limit when he meets a chemist that sets off a chain reaction unlike any he's ever seen.
Faysal Zenz lives a simple life. He goes to work, helps take care of his sister, and by all metrics should be content with his lot. Then he meets an agent that is equal parts lethal and endearing—one that challenges everything he thought he knew about the world and what his role in it would be.
It's hard to serve justice when the enemy's already broken through the defenses, yet the mission is clear: keep friends close, enemies even closer, and learn the truth or die trying.
What to expect: Slow burn romance with a bickering bi-disaster MC and his equally messy in love LI. A story that asks the question of which comes first—duty or desire?

Even though he's made a name for himself as an organized crime investigator in Tokyo, Ashura finds himself facing his greatest challenge when his parents' legacy and the investigation agency itself are threatened by the return of an old family adversary. Ash will have to learn to keep his friends close and his enemies closer in order to combat this looming threat as he gets thrown into his most nonsensical assignment yet. To make matters worse, he finds an unexpected ally in Faysal, the totally not handsome and definitely not charming stranger that's hiding just as many secrets as he is; together, they'll be forced to make choices that could change both their lives forever.

Hidden Report is a labor of love that has been 21 years in the making. It is a story about the challenges of balancing love with responsibility through the alternating point of views of Ashura and Faysal.
Content warnings include explicit language, sexual content, and violence.
Kurokawa Ashura
Ashura began as a role playing character, and developed from a space marine to the special agent we know today. He has changed over time as the novel changed—in the OG draft of Hidden Report, Ash was an enigmatic and cold presenting character with a confused and flustered side. This is a vast contrast to the Ash of today, where he is sarcastic, witty, shy, but also reserved and cold under other circumstances.
Faysal Zenz
From fan to original fiction, Faysal has gone through multiple versions of himself. From a magically inclined stalker, to a straight forward one, to the loving and much more straight forward and sentimental man he is today. As the love interest, he went from a thorn in Ash’s side to his greatest cheerleader—a very much needed, and happily made, change.
