What are your thoughts on fanfiction/fanart?

Considering I started with both, you can imagine what my answer to this will be. I’m completely supportive of both—and in fact, if you create them for my books, please let me know! I love seeing my characters in other people’s styles!

Do you use AI in any of your work?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: No, because I find the use of generative AI unethical for a multitude of reasons, including the fact that the training of it has involved the theft of other creatives’ work, the negative environmental impact it has, and how it has caused spiking utility costs that hurts already disenfranchised people.

So no. I do not, and will never, use AI to create my work.

I’d like to support my local independent bookstore. Can I order your books through them?

Absolutely! As long as they can order through Ingram Spark for the paperback or Draft2Digital for the e-book, you can order through them! I’d even encourage this— I’m a big fan of shopping small business!

I’d rather go through a big box store/more established site. Are there any that have your books?

Currently, my books are only available via the web, but the following stores are ones I’d recommend for ordering them:

I can’t afford to buy the book! Can I still read it?

I’ve been there, done that, have the badge. Don’t worry. I ask that you not pirate it, as I am keeping Hidden (and it’s future sequels) up on free platforms for you to enjoy! While I appreciate the support of anyone that is able and willing to buy the book and merch for it, I am equally appreciative of anyone that wants to enjoy it and grow to love it as much as I do through cheaper means.
